Registration and Payment

Wanderers is a 1-week outdoor education summer camp for San Francisco Bay area kids, ages 6-12. A Wanderers day includes hiking, tide pool exploration, natural history instruction, games and fun team-building activities, and time just to use our imaginations and play in the woods or on the beach!
Wanderers kids get a chance to hike in some of the most beautiful parts of the Bay area, including Mt. Tamalpais State Park, Pt. Reyes National Seashore, Stinson Beach, Bodega Dunes State Park, Salt Point State Park, Armstrong Redwoods State Park, Muir Woods National Monument….and more!

How to Register Your Child

To register your son or daughter for a camp, please download the PDF Registration Form and release waiver and send it with full payment to:

Tuition is due upon booking to reserve your space.

At this time we can only accept personal or cashiers checks. Please make checks out to Wanderers. By advancing this program fee with a signed Registration Form and Release Form acknowledges your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Once your fees and Registration Form are received, we’ll send you an email acknowledging its receipt.  Your child’s placement in the camp will then be secured. You will receive a student roster and a packing list 30 days before camp starts.

Extended Care

Extended care is available for our day camps:

$10/day per child for pre-camp extended care (8am-9am)
$10/day per child for post-camp extended care (5pm-6pm)
$20/day per child for both pre & post-camp extended care

Extended care can be paid 30 days prior to the start of camp. We will send out an email reminder at 30 days to find out if you need this service.

Cancellation Policy

If it is necessary for you to cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing by email, fax or letter immediately. If we are unable to find a suitable alternative camp, we will refund you the cost of your trip less the following, per child charges:
61 days or more prior to camp start.....................................................$25 administration fee
60 to 31 days before camp start......................................................50% of total program fee
30 days or less prior to camp start............................................................................No Refund
Your refund will be calculated on the day we receive your written cancellation.
